Sandra Bullock came face to face with her stalker.

Sandra Bullock came face to face with a crazed stalker outside her bedroom door, it has been revealed.

The Hollywood beauty was forced to lock herself in her bedroom after the chilling encounter with Joshua Corbett at her Los Angeles home on 6 June, celebrity website TMZ reports.

Bullock, 49, became fearful after she heard a loud noise around 1am, according to new search warrant details.

When she went to her room for safety she saw Corbett standing in her hallway dressed in "dark clothing."

She managed to get inside the room and called police for help.

TMZ reports that, when officers arrived, Corbett screamed at her: "Sandy, I'm sorry. Please don't press charges."

He was also carrying a notebook with magazine cut-out pictures of Bullock and handwritten notes for the star.

One of the notes read: "I will forever be thinking of you and Louie, my son, as you are my wife by law, the law of God and you belong to me and me to you."

He also wrote that he forgave the actress for "anything you may have done".

He denies committing a residential burglary, stalking and possessing a machine gun.

An insider told TMZ that it was not the Corbett's intention to rob Sandra's home, adding that he simple wanted "face-to-face" time with the star.
