Usain Bolt won his first sprint of the season on Sunday (March 31st), cruising to an easy victory in an exhibition 150-metre race down a track set up on Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana Beach.

Bolt easily won the race and finished in 14.42 seconds, just shy of his world-best of 14.35 set on the streets of Manchester in 2009.

After the race, the world's fastest man discussed his performance and impressions of host city for the 2016 Olympics, Rio de Janeiro.

"It was a good race. I really enjoyed it. It was my first sprinting race all season so for me to start off on such a good note is very good. I haven't been doing much sprinting all season so for me the race was pretty good. The city has been okay. It's been wonderful. I've gotten a great reception. I haven't seen much. I would say around the immediate city. So far it seems wonderful. I don't know if I'll get the chance to come back. We've been talking about, me and my friends have been talking about trying to vacation here after the season but we're not sure yet so, I have a few more months to think about it and it's been good, looking forward to coming back in Rio," said Bolt.

The six-time Olympic champion concluded his four-day promotional trip to Rio de Janeiro on Sunday.
