Cannes Film Festival 2016: Kendall Jenner dares to bare at From The Land Of The Moon premiere

Another glamourous night in Cannes and another red carpet, as fashion and film collide for a star-studded night at the movies. The roll call of red hot stars attending the premiere of 'From The Land Of The Moon (Mal De Pierres)' at the Grand Theatre Lumiere included Kendall Jenner, Marion Cotillard, Petra Nemcova, Pixie Lott, and Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor.

Model of the moment Kendall made sure all eyes were on her as she displayed her svelte figure in a sheer dress emblazoned with an elaborate snake design and delicate fishtail hem. Daring to bare her pert posterior at the prestigious film festival she protected her modesty with nude and black underwear.

With slicked back hair the reality TV star accessorized the dramatic look with diamond earrings complementing the shimmering detail on the gown.

Fellow model Petra Nemcova seemed to be having the most fun on the red carpet. Wearing a flattering Georges Chakra's red sheath gown with draped shoulder/skirt accents, she twirled and posed for the onlooking photographers. With clean lines, the simple style statement was given a sexy edge with a nude sheer back.

Cannes jury member Vanessa Paradis also opted for dangerously daring sheer panels on a stylish polka dot dress. While a sheer panel extended down the length of her torso and her sides, the 43-year-old French actress looked effortlessly elegant.

Indian actress and L'Oreal ambassador Sonam Kapoor took the cape trend to the next level, wearing a show-stopping white Ralph and Russo gown with silver leaf embroidery and a floor-sweeping train. A style icon in India, Kapoor carried off the stylish ensemble effortlessly.

Kapoor's fellow L'Oreal ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been taking over the red carpet all weekend but this time she was joined by the cast of her forthcoming film Sarbjit.

The actress looked radiant in a romantic blush pink off the shoulder dress with elaborate embroidered design and pleated train. With her hair pulled back into a high pony, the 42-year-old opted for a striking mauve lip colour to complement the pretty pastel hues, eliciting a mixed reaction on social media.

The actress who had earlier been spotted bonding with Blake Lively, appeared to be enjoying having company on the red carpet as she posed for selfies with the producers of her film Sarbjit, Jackky Bhagnani and Honey Bhagnani, director Omung Kumar, co-star Richa Chadha and producer Bhushan Kumar.

Meanwhile, it was only right that the star of the French romantic drama 'From The Land Of The Moon' Marion Cotillard took centre stage at the premiere of her film. Wearing a glittering gold Georges Chakra Couture gown with scooped back and side split, she was accompanied by the director Nicole Garcia, 70, and co-stars Alex Brendemühl, and Louis Garrel.

The romantic comedy tells the tale of a free-spirited woman who finds herself trapped in a loveless marriage and falls in love with another man.
