Kim Kardashian apparently couldn't contain her excitement at meeting Hillary Clinton.

In a public endorsement of the presidential candidate, the reality TV star tweeted a selfie with Clinton, hailing her as the future president of the United States of America.

However, the social media queen got her words somewhat garbled as she posted her enthusiastic messages.

In the first message, which was later deleted and rewritten, Kim tweeted: "Excited 2 meet our next president tonight!1st female president of the Hilary (sic) Clinton! Maybe she'll take a selfie w me."

She did manage to get her selfie, with Kanye West hilariously photo-bombing the pair, but she added another poorly penned caption: "I got my selfie!!! I really loved hearing her speak & hearing her goals for our country! #HillaryForPresisent (sic)" she wrote.

She later corrected the tweets, however her latest online errors might explain why Kardashian West is so eager for an edit feature to be included on Twitter that would allow users to tweak their posts without having to delete them and post them again.

The event was Hillary's third fundraising visit to Los Angeles since announcing her presidential bid.

Kim's mother Kris Jenner also attended and posed for a picture with the favourite for Democrat candidate for the 2016 election.

The matriarch posted the picture on Instagram with the caption: "An Honor to meet you Hillary Clinton! Great evening... #ohjustchatting"

While Kim was mocked on the social networking website for her gaffe, by Friday all was forgiven, as the hashtag #ThankYouKardashians was trending, as fans expressed their support for the TV stars. There were also those who took the opportunity to poke some fun at reality TV's first family

Kim Kardashian West is expecting a baby boy, due in December, with husband Kanye West. The pair were recently immortalised in wax at Madame Tussauds and have even talked about a movie about their lives.
