A 20-year-old man has been arrested today on suspicion of the murder of 73-year-old Fulham man Joseph Griffiths, who was stabbed to death during a suspected burglary at his home last Saturday.

Mr Griffiths, who owned a car repair business, was married with two sons and had seven grandchildren. A statement from the family said: "Joe was a husband, father and grandfather, he was a successful businessman who embraced life and lived it to the full."

The Metropolitan Police said there had been other people in the house at the time of the attack, but none of them had been injured. Officers said they are continuing to appeal for information.
