When Angry Birds was first launched, in 2009 by Rovio Entertainment, the game became an instant hit on smartphones. The newest version of the game - Angry Bird Space - was released on 22 March and is now available on different platforms.

In less than three days after its launch, Angry Birds Space has been downloaded more than 10 million times.

New Features:

The latest version of Angry Birds game features 60 levels split into two zones - Pig Bang and Cold Cuts. There are a further 30 levels in the Danger Zone, along with an additional in-app purchase (IAP) for a further fee.

There are also new birds... with new powers. The game features regular free updates, zero-gravity adventures and offers trick shots. There are also hidden bonus levels.

The original game involved using slingshots to launch little birds at fortresses built by green pigs. The new game is based on the same premise but the battlefield is in deep space, with the trajectory of the birds altered by the gravity of the nearby planets, according to a report.
