Candace Owens Takes a Jab at Beckham Family Feud, Says Nicola Peltz Has 'Very Long Record of Being Unbearable'

Now, conservative political commentator Candace Owens has waded into the dispute, taking aim at Nicola Peltz Beckham, the wife of the Beckhams' eldest son. Owens claimed Peltz has a 'very long record of being unbearable,' a remark that has added fuel to an already volatile family drama.

In the posts, the 26-year-old made it clear he does not wish to reconcile with his family, saying: 'I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life.'

Brooklyn used the platform to address rumours surrounding his relationship with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. He accused them of prioritising the 'Brand Beckham' over family ties and alleged that they tried to bribe him into signing away the rights to his own name.

He also claimed his parents repeatedly attempted to sabotage his relationship with his wife, Peltz, by planting false media stories.

Reflecting on his upbringing, Brooklyn said he suffered from 'overwhelming anxiety' due to their controlling behaviour and has chosen to distance himself to protect his mental health and support his wife.

Candace Owens Shares 'Unbearable' Behaviour

On a YouTube live, conservative political commentator Candace Owens discussed the ongoing Beckham family feud, which has unfolded through Brooklyn Beckham's Instagram Stories.

Owens says that Nicola Peltz, wife of Brooklyn has a 'very long record of being unbearable.'

Owens claimed that the actress has a history of legal disputes, pointing to Brooklyn's decision to send his family a cease and desist letter as part of a broader pattern.

Last summer, Brooklyn Beckham reportedly instructed his solicitors to demand that his parents cease all direct contact and communicate only through legal representatives.

The notice specifically requested that David and Victoria refrain from tagging him in social media posts or using his image for 'Brand Beckham' promotion, as he claimed these public interactions were detrimental to his mental health.

The situation ultimately reached a breaking point in January 2026 when Brooklyn blocked his family on Instagram, citing a breach of the legal request after his mother 'liked' one of his cooking videos.

Owen said that Brooklyn likely got this behaviour from his wife, Peltz. She said, 'She sues people over and over again when she doesn't get what she wants. She sues them because she experiences anxiety if she's told no, and she sues them when she wants to deal with her emotions.'

Owens recounted a bizarre lawsuit involving Peltz and her elderly Chihuahua. 'She called for a van to come... We can wash your dog in the van on your own property, so you can sit here and watch us wash your dog.'

Owens explained, 'Nicola says that her dog was all Weird. And came in, and hours later, they rushed the dog to the hospital, and later on, the dog died.'

She noted, 'Yeah, I think if a stranger takes your dog into a van, they might be anxious. And when you get anxious when you're older, there's a chance that you might have a heart attack. It's not great, is what I'm saying.'

Nicola then hired high-profile lawyer Marty Singer to sue the dog-washing company, claiming they were 'serial dog killers,' even though the autopsy revealed a common Chihuahua condition: fluid buildup in the brain.

The death of Peltz's dog, Nala, and the lawsuit have been widely reported. In June 2024, Peltz and Brooklyn launched a civil claim against a dog groomer, asserting that their pet was perfectly healthy prior to an appointment but subsequently developed fatal complications.

The groomer has refuted these allegations, and the court has yet to reach a formal verdict regarding liability in the matter.

Another lawsuit happened in 2022, Peltz's father, Nelson Peltz, initiated a legal claim against their wedding planners to recover a £125,000 (approximately $165,000) deposit following their dismissal only nine days into the job.

The planners responded with a countersuit for breach of contract, releasing private messages that exposed a disorganised planning process and alleged the Peltz family were 'difficult' clients.

Owens also brought up Selena Gomez and Peltz's falling out. Owens said, 'Selena Gomez and her had a dust-up.'

She added, 'Nicola ended the friendship because Selena very clearly wanted Brooklyn. It's like she doesn't have anything to do.'

Furthermore, Owens also brought up Peltz's ex-boyfriend, Anwar Hadid, the brother of supermodels Gigi and Bella. She said that Anwar had stopped talking to his family when he was in a relationship with Peltz.
