Armed police are attending the scene of a siege in Central London.

Tottenham Court Road was sealed off by police and bomb disposal experts this afternoon after a man is said to have walked into a training centre for HGV drivers, wearing an explosive device. He then threw PCs, office furniture and papers out of

the 5<sup>th floor window of the offices and is now holding 4 people hostage claiming he doesn't care about his life.

Trained hostage negotiators are now said to be trying to calm the man down. And all surrounding offices have been evacuated.
