That iconic gambling resort and glamour spot - Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas - was crowded with celebrities on 26 April when the CinemaCon 2012 Big Screen Achievement Awards ceremony was held.

South African actress Charlize Theron stole the limelight, after being honoured with the Distinguished Decade in Film Award, while American actress Jennifer Garner was presented the Female Star of the Year award and fellow American Jeremy Renner took the Male Star of the Year accolade.

According to Just Jared, Garner wore a Michael Kors outfit and David Webb-designed jewellery. Incidentally, this is the first time Garner has made a public appearance since her pregnancy.

Meanwhile, Theron wore a Dion Lee dress and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and On The Red Carpet described her outfit as a sexy, black cut-out Dion Lee 2012 Fall collection with nude mesh, halter-style top and off-the-shoulder sleeve. She paired the look with black, strappy Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

Other celebrities at the event included American actress Michelle Pfeiffer, who wore a black long-sleeve dress with a body-hugging, over-the-knee skirt; the "Wolf" actress won the Cinema Icon award. The Daily Mail was all praises for the actress, who apparently defied signs of ageing.

"Pfeiffer brightened the ensemble with its leather body and knitted sleeves, while she went for a bold jewelled necklace. Michelle completed the dark ensemble up with some sky-high black heels as she entered the event. And she didn't even seem to have needed a helping hand in the cosmetics department as she kept her make-up simple and low key," the Daily Mail said.

Chloe Grace Moretz - the Female Star of Tomorrow - wore a dark blue and metallic Kenzo outfit with red medallion-like spots, a conservative collar and flared skirt. She paired the look with black Jimmy Choo "Lance" sandals.

"Salma Hayek and Kristen Stewart were the only women who opted out of black to try something sportive. Salma Hayek looked gorgeous in a simple, tie-neck black dress with a pop of red lipstick. Kristen Stewart looked like a goth cheerleader while joining Theron for a panel on "Snow White and the Huntsman" before the gala. The actress wore a fitted top with a black-and-white pleated mini-skirt," reported the New York Post.
