D4vd & Celeste's Hidden Romance Exposed on Reddit: Fans Question His Guilt in Her Murder Case

A viral Reddit post circulating recently has renewed online scrutiny of singer D4vd amid an ongoing grand jury investigation into the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose remains were discovered in September 2025 inside a Tesla car registered to the artist.

The post, shared on 22 January in the subreddit r/d4vd2 by a user who identifies as a former fan, claims to document a private romantic relationship between D4vd and Celeste through a series of now-deactivated social media accounts.

While the claims are unverified and no criminal charges have been filed, the discussion has intensified debate among fans and observers over the nature of the relationship and D4vd's potential involvement in the case.

The Reddit Post and Alleged Social Media Evidence

The original Reddit author said they had followed a small, private Instagram account in 2024 after noticing it among the accounts D4vd followed publicly. The account, described as having roughly 40 followers and a Hello Kitty–themed username, allegedly accepted the follow request and appeared to belong to a young woman.

According to the post, the account featured only a handful of meme posts, all of which D4vd had liked, along with casual comments suggesting familiarity.

The user further claimed that occasional Instagram Stories showed faceless but intimate moments, including hand-holding, walking together, and dining out. At the time, the author said they assumed the account belonged to D4vd's girlfriend.

Only after Celeste's death became public, the poster wrote, did they begin to suspect the account may have belonged to her. The author stressed that the post was not intended as an accusation and acknowledged they could not independently verify the account holder's identity.

Claims of Multiple Accounts and Concealment

Other Reddit users expanded on the claims, alleging that Celeste operated multiple Instagram and TikTok accounts beginning in early to mid-2024. Commenters suggested these accounts were created to conceal her identity and relationship with D4vd from fans and the public.

Other users claimed the accounts were later deactivated in late 2024. Additional speculation arose after users reported that likes from one alleged account on D4vd's older Instagram posts had disappeared in recent weeks, prompting unverified theories that someone may have accessed or altered the account after Celeste's death.

None of these claims has been confirmed by law enforcement or through independent reporting.

Background of the Case

Celeste Rivas Hernandez, born in September 2010, was reported missing multiple times in 2024 by family members in Riverside County, California.

According to reports, she had online contact with an individual named 'David' beginning when she was approximately 12 years old. Friends of D4vd have reportedly told investigators they believed the girl accompanying him was an adult college student.

On 8 September 2025, Celeste's decomposed and partially dismembered remains were discovered inside plastic bags in the front trunk of a Tesla registered to D4vd at a Hollywood tow yard. The vehicle had been impounded after being towed from near a Hollywood Hills rental property where D4vd had stayed. He performed at a concert in Minneapolis the following day.

As of February 2026, no cause or manner of death has been publicly released due to the ongoing homicide investigation.
