Injured British sailors rescued from racing yacht
Footage of the moment two seriously injured British sailors were rescued from the Pacific has been released.
Take a look at this - it's clear to see how dangerous the waters were at the time of the incident, the rescue boat (The US Coastguard Bertholf) bounces around and can only just steady itself. The Brits (who're being named as Jane Hitchins, a doctor from Kent, and Nik Brbora, a software engineer from London, were with 2 others on an Australian yacht taking part in an around-the-world race. It was on the leg from San Francisco to China when high winds caused a huge wave to hit the boat disabling the steering and some of its comms equipment. The two are now being treated - one has a broken rib and a punctured lung.
