Jersey Shore star Snooki is reportedly pregnant by boyfriend Jionni LaValle. It would be her first child.

Reports said that the 24-year-old reality TV star, whose real name is Nicole Polizziwi, would officially announce the news within the next few days.

A source close to the couple told America's Star magazine: "She is pregnant and has only told her closest friends and some family. She's been telling people that she has a big announcement coming.

"They are having to redo the creative direction of her spin-off because of her pregnancy," the source added.

The duo, who met during the third season filming of the show, have been together for just over a year and the pregnancy will reportedly be worked into the plot of her new reality TV show, a spin-off with co-star Jenni 'J-Woww' Farley.

The star appeared to hint to fans this week that she was expecting with a cryptic message on Facebook which read: "I feel sick."

She added further to pregnancy speculations when she later tweeted: "Late night craving...yogurt hits the fricken spot! (sic)"

Pint-sized Snooki, known for her wild antics on the hit show, previously hooked up with Jersey Shore co-star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino and Vinny Guadagnino.
