King Charles Advised to Skip US Visit Over Fears Trump Could Use Him as a 'Propaganda Tool'

Donald Trump has been very vocal about his experiences visiting the United Kingdom last year. At the time, he was joined by his wife, Melania Trump. Reports revealed the president and first lady received royal treatment during their trip, with Trump receiving a 41-gun salute at Windsor Castle and the couple treated to a lavish state banquet and other key events.
Following his trip to the UK, the president has been open about his plans to invite King Charles to the United States. King Charles last set foot in the country in 2018 when he attended the funeral of George HW Bush. However, political strategist Steve Schmidt has issued a stern warning to King Charles, urging him to reconsider if he ever has plans to visit the US.
Message for King Charles
The Lincoln Project and Save America Movement co-founder said King Charles should avoid being used as a propaganda tool by Trump.
'I have a message for the king: I'm involved in a group called the Save America Movement. The king should not come to America in 2026. Should he step foot on American soil in service of MAGA as a propaganda tool, then the crown will be attacked with an advertising campaign that would not be permitted in England. It will be no holds barred', he told The Daily Beast podcast.
Photos on Buildings
Schmidt went on to say he would give King Charles the same treatment he gave Trump when the latter visited the UK. As part of their anti-Trump Save America Movement, he would project controversial images onto different buildings in New York City. He also threatened to run all sorts of ad campaigns that would send the British people into a spiral.
During Trump's visit to the UK, photos of himself and Jeffrey Epstein were projected onto buildings. The two personalities were reportedly once friends.
Schmidt went on to say that King Charles' possible trip to the US will just be beneficial to Trump because it would make it seem as though the king is supporting all of Trump's actions. However, the president is currently facing backlash for all the senseless killings happening in the US, amongst many other issues.
'Should the king come to Washington, it will be a celebration of Donald Trump in a moment of existential crisis for American democracy', he said.
King Charles, Trump, Prince Andrew, and Jeffrey Epstein
According to Radar Online, King Charles could also skip any plans to visit the US to avoid links to Epstein, Trump, and even his younger brother, Prince Andrew. According to reports, there is an ongoing movement urging Prince Andrew to appear in the US courts to explain his real relationship with Epstein.
'Every appearance now risks reopening questions the palace wants to put behind it. The latest files make a visit politically toxic', the source said.
To make things worse, Trump even released a statement about Prince Andrew's rumoured connections with the late Epstein. 'I feel very badly. I mean, it's a terrible thing that's happened to the family', the president reportedly said.
