Where to Watch

Preview

Though qualification can be assured with a third round robin win, Djokovic goes in search of a victory which will secure him the year-end world No.1.

And having won each of his last three matches against Berdych and all of the pair's previous meetings at the ATP World Tour Finals, the Serbian is again the big favourite to secure passage to the semi-final.

Berdych showed dramatic improvement in beating Marin Cilic to claim his first round robin win but needs to repeat the form which saw him last beat Djokovic back in Rome in 2013. The Czech has however never defeated the defending champion on a hard court.

Victory for Djokovic will be enough to see him qualify while Berdych will have to wait until the result of the Wawrinka-Cilic match in the evening before discovering his fate.

A two-set loss would require Cilic to beat Wawrinka to keep Berdych's hopes alive while any other result, even a three-set defeat, could be enough to see him progress.

What they said:

Novak Djokovic: "I think every player has his own preferred conditions where he loves to play, country, surface, so forth. But tennis is a unique sport. It's very demanding because it has a variety of different surfaces, conditions that affect the ball's bounce, humidity, so forth. All these different effects, factors that can influence the play."

Tomas Berdych: "You know, it's always a huge challenge to play No. 1 player in the world. The way he's playing, where are we playing, it's pretty much all set up for him and for his game. That's how it is.So for me it's going to be great to play a match with him, maybe the last of the season, maybe not."
