Every now and then, Trump makes headlines for mistaking the names and positions of other leaders. He also has a tendency to lash out in public during interviews and speeches.

Before becoming president, Donald Trump was a business tycoon and a real estate developer. He also worked on television and produced the hit show The Apprentice. Prior to relocating to the White House, the POTUS lived in a three-level penthouse at the top of his own building known as the Trump Tower.

While there, Trump regularly posed for photos and some of his throwback snaps recently went viral online. The photos show a much younger looking Trump sitting behind his desk with his signature poker face. Other photos show the president sitting and standing in front of a wall that shows his reflection.

The photos were shared on X and were accompanied by a controversial caption.

The photoshoot reportedly proves that Trump has always been obsessed with his ego because he is equally obsessed with how he looks. According to The List, Trump has one of the biggest egos among all the US presidents. The POTUS doesn't also try to hide the fact that he loves himself too much because he even named a building after himself.

According to the publication, Trump also has a constant need to show himself off as evidenced by his photos. Since the snaps were taken years ago, it cannot be denied how much the president's appearance also changed over time. He used to have more hair, and his skin tone also looked more natural.

Despite having a big ego, the publication said that Trump has a very thin skin. He is known for criticising other leaders, journalists, and almost everyone that doesn't support his ways. However, he reportedly cannot take it when he's the one being criticised.

Negative Reactions to Trump's Photos

Trump's throwback photos have also caused a frenzy online. It has been reposted over 400 times and has garnered differing reactions from the public.

'Dunno exactly why, but the first photo looks like it's missing a taco bowl,' one person wrote.

'This is the year he's shaving it off. That comb-over can only carry him so far,' another person wrote.

'That guy wants presidency?' a third person commented.

'Seeing one of him is hideous let alone 10 of him. He's old, pathetic, orange, and gross,' another person wrote on Facebook.

Not a Narcissist but a Solipsist

In an opinion piece for The Guardian, a journalist said that Trump isn't a narcissist but a solipsist or a person who believes that only their own mind and experiences are the reality or the truth. Trump also enjoys getting attacked by others because this keeps the focus on him.

'What could be better for a solipsist than to be criticized across the full spectrum of America's limited ideological bandwidth?' they wrote.
