Two signed works of art Damian Hirst valued at more than £30,000 have been stolen form a gallery in west London, police have said.

The pieces, Pyronin Y and Oleoylsarcosine, were taken from the Exhibitionist Gallery, Notting Hill, in the early hours of the morning.

The pieces, which feature multi-coloured dots, were taken after a suspect forced his way through the front door drove the items away in a dark-coloured hatchback-type vehicle

Pyronin Y, the larger of the two stolen works, was created in 2005 and is worth £15,000. Oleoylsarcosine was created in 2008 and is worth £18,000.
