Overview

Murray enters Sunday's final as the favourite after the World No 8 defeated three times Valencia Open winner David Ferrer in the semifinal clash on Saturday. The British tennis star registered a comfortable victory over the Spaniard as he won the match in straight sets 6-4, 7-5.

The 27-year-old has won the Valencia Open only once in 2009 and has a very good chance of winning the tournament for the second time in his career on Sunday. So far, Murray has dropped only one set in the four matches he has played so far and he would be hoping to continue the same in the finals at the Ciutat de les Arts I les Ciencies.

Robredo, on the other hand had to work hard to seal a place in the last two of the ongoing tournament. The Spaniard defeated Jeremy Chardy in straight sets in the semfinal clash, but the 32-year-old had to struggle to seal the match.

The fixture ended in two sets and they were decided on a tie-breaker as Robredo came out victorious on both occasions. So far, Robredo has not dropped even a single set in the Valencia Open and the clash between him and Murray will be exciting to watch on Sunday.
