Didier Drogba could be heading for Aston Villa.

According to Goal.com, Villa have already expressed their willingness to sign the 33-year-old Ivory Coast striker who is preparing to quit Chelsea in the summer. The Midlands club is reportedly willing for a two-year contract with Drogba, that will pave the way for Darren Bent's exit.

Drogba earns£120,000 a week now. And the sale of Bent could enable Villa to take care of Drogba's signing costs, the report has added.

"Villa are steeling themselves for bids for Bent this month. They are preparing for life without him and are seriously considering Drogba as a replacement," Goal.com has quoted a Villa insider as saying.

Meanwhile, it has also been rumoured that Liverpool are actively considering signing Bent.
