Overview

The fourth test between Australia and India will see the latter play their first Test match since MS Dhoni decided to end his Test career after the end of the third Test. Wriddhiman Saha will take the place of Dhoni behind the stumps as India will be led by Virat Kohli.

After having a disappointing series, Shikhar Dhawan is likely to be dropped for the last Test in Sydney. KL Rahul could retain his spot in the starting XI, despite having a disappointing performance with the bat.

Suresh Raina may come in for Dhawan as Rahul is likely to join Murali Vijay to open the batting. Meanwhile, for Australia Mitchell Starc will replace injured Mitchell Johnson for the Sydney Test.

Australia have already won the series after taking a 2-0 lead. The result of the final Test will not have any significance on the outcome of the series. The third match ended in a draw and India will be looking for a win in order to avoid another defeat.
