James Corden
James Corden returns for hosting duties for the fifth and final time Brit Awards 2014

After the excitement of the Grammys it is time for the UK to celebrate some home-grown talent. The Brit Awards are finally here!

Tonight, performers like Ellie Goulding, Artic Monkeys and Lorde will be flying the British flag while American acts including Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Pharrell Williams will be bringing the international twist.

Comedian and actor James Corden will host the show for the fifth and final time as stars from the world of music anxiously wait to hear if they will be walking home with any gongs.

Will Naughty Boy win the Best British Single award? Will Beyoncé show up for a surprise performance? Can Corden recreate his infamous Adele movement?

IBTimes UK will be reporting live from London's O2 and relaying all the winners as they are revealed.

So tune into our live blog from 8pm GMT to ensure you don't miss any emotional acceptance speeches, star tantrums, or cringe-worthy performances.

But until then, here's another quick look at the nominees.
