Is Bruno Tonioli Leaving Britain's Got Talent? Possible Reasons — And The Fan Favourites Tipped To Replace Him
Bruno Tonioli first joined the show following David Walliams' departure due to leaked comments he made about contestants during filming breaks

Bruno Tonioli is set to leave Britain's Got Talent, with two fan-favourite celebrities predicted to step in as his replacement.
As a top choreographer, Tonioli has also judged on shows like Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing With The Stars.
He landed the role as David Walliams' replacement on Britain's Got Talent in 2023 and has completed two seasons of the hit series.
However, due to scheduling conflicts, Tonioli is unable to commit to the two weeks of auditions that make up half the show's episodes this year, resulting in him leaving the show altogether.
Here are the details about why Tonioli is leaving Britain's Got Talent and which celebrities are at the top of the list to replace him.
Juggling Two Judging Panels At Once
Tonioli's scheduling conflicts are due to his commitment to filming Dancing With The Stars in the US, on which he has been a judge since the show's first season in 2005.
Last year, the auditions for Britain's Got Talent took place over one week in Blackpool in October and one week in London in January, of which Tonioli was only able to attend the latter.
With audition dates and locations changing this year to be held in Blackpool and Birmingham over one fortnight in October, Tonioli would be forced to miss the entire audition process.
'The filming schedule in 2024 meant that Bruno could get away with not being present for filming one week of auditions,' a TV insider told The Sun.
'But it would be virtually impossible for him to miss two weeks, because in the final edit, that equates to half the episodes in the new three-month run of BGT, which will air from February of 2026,' they further explained.
The insider also said there was 'no ill feeling about the situation' and that scheduling simply made it too difficult to remain as a full-time judge.
'The only hope is if his long-time friend and fellow panellist Simon Cowell steps in to make it clear that he has to be a part of the show, no matter how difficult it proves to be,' they said.
Could KSI Be BGT's New Full-Time Judge?
KSI has been named as a favourite for Tonioli's replacement.
The social media star, who is also a professional boxer and musician, filled in for Tonioli during the first week of auditions in Blackpool in 2024.
He was a huge hit with fans and made a second appearance during the live semi-finals in London as a guest judge.
Even before it was revealed Tonioli would be leaving the show, fans had voiced their preference for KSI over the permanent judge.
'Should KSI replace Bruno?' one Reddit user asked on a discussion thread.
'Okay so we've had Bruno ever since the whole David Walliams incident, and i feel like he just isn't fit for it, I actually enjoyed KSI a lot more than Bruno ever made me feel,' they said.
Comments were generally in agreement that Tornioli should be replaced.
Alan Carr Another Frontrunner For Tornioli Replacement
When David Walliams left Britain's Got Talent in 2023, Alan Carr was the favourite to replace him.
The comedian is a long-time friend of Amanda Holden, who has been a judge on the series since it began airing in 2007.
However, Simon Cowell reportedly stepped in at the last minute to insist Tornioli should be the one to appear alongside him, Holden, and Alesha Dixon.
Now, Alan Carr may have another shot at taking on the role of full-time judge per Tornioli's departure.
