What managers say
Sean Dyche: "We're in a great position, if that came around. We're in a stronger position now. That's where the club has changed. It would have to be appropriate for all parties, and all parties are in the loop. There's no story. When everyone reads it, they'll all say: 'That's exactly what we've been told.' I'm open and honest with the players. We'll look at it and speak to the relevant people. If it doesn't fit, crack on. I think it's a natural part of the club's continuing progress. It's good in one way to have your players linked, getting recognised by, usually, bigger clubs," Dyche told the Mirror.
Jose Mourinho: "We are in trouble. We are in trouble. In this moment, Eric Bailly played six matches in a row, and we lost Marcos Rojo, we don't have Jones or Smalling, we are in trouble and now we lose Zlatan too. But in attack, we have options and (Wayne) Rooney is coming, and let's see if Mata can also return before the end of the season, let's see what happens. Now we need absolutely everyone, now I even have to think that Axel Tuanzebe, has to go to the under something World Cup in Korea, because maybe Axel has to come now, now we need everyone," Mourinho was reported as saying by the Daily Mail.
