Where to watch live

Kick-off is for 5.30pm BST. Live coverage of the game is available on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD. Catch the highlights of the game on BBC Match of the Day on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10.25pm BST.

Overview

Chelsea come into this fixture after suffering a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium. It was Gylfi Sigurdsson's 25th minute goal that was the difference between the two sides.

The Blues league defeat was Guus Hiddink's first loss in the Premier League since he took charge at Stamford Bridge last December. The Dutchman will be keen on helping Chelsea bounce back when they host City on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Manuel Pellegrini's side have lesser time to prepare for the weekend clash due to the European competition. City's 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg at home saw them progress to the semi-final of Europe's elite club competition.

The return of Kevin De Bruyne from injury has added more firepower to City's attack. He will have a point to prove when he returns to his former club when the Citizens face Chelsea this weekend.
