England's Euro 2016 hopes hang in the balance as they prepare to face a confident Wales in Group B at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis in Lens on 16 June.

The Three Lions played well in their first match of the tournament against Russia, but were ultimately undone by lack of ruthlessness in front of goal as they could only draw the match 1-1. It means Roy Hodgson's side ideally need to beat Wales to give themselves some breathing space in the group ahead of a tricky final game against Slovakia.

England are backed at 4/7 by Betfair to win their first match of the tournament in Lens.

Wales ended a poor run of results in pre-tournament friendlies by opening their Euro 2016 campaign with a 2-1 win over Slovakia. The Dragons have only won 14 of their 103 previous meetings with England, with their more illustrious rivals winning 68. They are a 13/2 bet to pull off an upset, with a draw priced at 3/1.

Harry Kane is placed at 5/1 to score the first goal of the match, with Wayne Rooney at 13/2. Wales talisman Gareth Bale is a 15/2 bet to score first.
