Hundreds of fans gathered in Novada over the weekend to remember one of the greatest musical icons of our time. The first-ever estate-authorised fan festival coincided with the opening night of Cirque du Soleil's blockbuster "The Immortal".

The fan fest will continue until at least Dec. 27, when the show hits the road for a 60-plus city tour that moonwalks into San Jose and Oakland in January.

Leaving Conrad Murray's manslaughter trial behind them, the family of the King of Pop, including his three children, attended the Las Vegas premiere of "Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour by Cirque du Soleil".

Jacko's brother Tito said: "I'm very excited. At the same time, I'm touched. There's a little thing going on in there (points to heart.), you know, for the brother thing. My brother - I don't know if people know this about Michael, but my brother actually lived and loved what he did."
