On Sunday, Adam revealed his fiancée, sports presenter Laura Woods, suffered a miscarriage.

Love Island star Adam Collard left viewers emotional during a recent episode of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, as he opened up about a deeply personal loss. Sharing a heartbreaking moment aired on Sunday, Adam revealed his fiancée, sports presenter Laura Woods, suffered a miscarriage.
Adam, who broke down in tears while discussing the emotional aftermath of the tragedy, shared that the miscarriage occurred when Laura was 11 weeks pregnant. He also admitted he almost didn't take part in the gruelling Channel 4 challenge series, said the loss left him in a 'very low' state, and ultimately led to a diagnosis of depression.
While fans and viewers are appreciating Adam for sharing such a vulnerable piece of his life with the world, at the same time, they are wondering if things are still good between him and Laura Woods.
Adam Shares He Was Pretending to Be Fine For Laura
As the reality star spoke to the Special Forces staff, he recalled the emotional toll of pretending to be okay for the sake of Laura.

'We lost something when it was really close to getting to the exciting time,' he said. 'It was ten times worse for her, and I just really was in a bit of a bad place. To be honest, in front of her I pretended I was cool and pretended I was absolutely fine.'
The conversation took an emotional turn as Adam reflected on how he'd previously dismissed the idea of mental health struggles, admitting he didn't truly understand the impact until he experienced it himself.
'I've always just thought, I don't really understand that. I kind of dismissed it when I was younger... until it hit me.'
A Glimpse Into Adam's Grief
In the same episode, Adam was asked to read a 'death letter,' which was a segment where celebrities write emotional messages to their loved ones.

Fighting through tears, he paid tribute to Laura. 'We lost a baby recently,' he said, before becoming overwhelmed with emotion. 'I wish I had one more night to give you the world's biggest cuddle. Love you always, Adam.'
Co-star Conor Benn approached to comfort Adam in a rare moment of vulnerability on the show.
In a piece to camera, Adam praised Laura for being a vital emotional anchor in his life. 'I'd say I'm pretty closed off as a person and she definitely helped me to open up.'
Are Adam and Laura Still Together?
With this episode, fans and viewers who were concerned about the status of Adam and Laura's relationship after the incident can take a breath of relief as Adam didn't hesitate to show his emotions for his fiancée, confirming they are still together and stronger than ever.

The couple, who began dating in October 2023 and got engaged the following September, welcomed their first child, a son named Leo, in January 2025.
Their relationship appears to be on solid ground. Adam has spoken fondly of Laura, describing her as 'the one' early on in their romance. Their connection has been evident in social media posts, with the couple regularly sharing glimpses of their life together, from travels abroad to quiet moments with their baby boy.
Laura herself has kept a low profile following the miscarriage revelation, but has continued to support Adam both personally and publicly.
Adam's past relationships in the public eye, including his time with Zara McDermott on Love Island and a brief fling with Lottie Moss on Celebs Go Dating, have been well documented. However, his relationship with Laura has marked a clear shift in his approach to love and commitment.
Speaking last year about their first meeting, Adam revealed, 'Eventually we met up and went on a very undercover date... What comes out in the press comes out in the press, but it's not always the full story.'
While the miscarriage deeply affected both Adam and Laura, they are seemingly finding comfort in each other. With their son Leo now seven months old, Adam and Laura are continuing to build a life filled with gratitude and strength.
