Qualifying Review

Hamilton continued his impressive form of Friday's session during the qualifying. The British driver clocked 1:44.231s to take pole on Sunday. His Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg will start the Australian Grand Prix race from third place.

Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo was the second fastest on a wet track on Saturday's qualifying at Albert Park, trailing Hamilton by 1.083s. Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso will start from fifth with a time of 1:45.819.

Meanwhile, defending champion and Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel will start Sunday's race from 13<sup>th place while Kimi Raikkonen is 12<sup>th.
