The Group 2 clash of the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 clash between India and Australia at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium was nothing but exciting as Virat Kohli's unbeaten knock of 82 helped his side to seal a place in the semi-final of the tournament.

Australia, who were given a good start by opener Usman Khawaja and Aaron Finch were unable to continue their momentum until the end as Indian bowlers bounced back after the powerplay. They were able to restrict Steven Smith's side to 160 for 6.

India became the fourth and final side to seal their berth in the semi-final. They join New Zealand (from Group 2), West Indies and England (from Group 1) in the last four of the tournament. MS Dhoni's side will face West Indies, while the Black Caps will take on England in the other semi-final. IBTimes UK has compiled some Twitter reaction after India's victory over Australia.
