MAGA Trump Supporter Brayton Arthur Accused of Molesting Three Children Hundreds of Times From as Young as Five

A Bloomington, Indiana man now faces eight felony counts after investigators say he sexually abused three girls, with the earliest alleged incidents dating back to 2010, over a span of roughly sixteen years.

Brayton Arthur, 30, was charged following a months-long Indiana State Police investigation that began after a report of sexual assault involving a young girl was filed in July 2026.

Court documents filed in Monroe County allege that the abuse occurred hundreds of times across three separate victims, with one accuser describing assaults as frequent as two to five times a week over seven years. Arthur has not entered a plea and, under Indiana law, is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

Sixteen Years of Alleged Abuse How the Case Unfolded

According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Monroe County, the case began when two young girls made reports to the Department of Child Services, prompting an Indiana State Police detective to open a formal inquiry in July 2026. That inquiry expanded rapidly, with a third accuser coming forward as the investigation progressed.

Court filings describe two distinct timelines within the case. The earliest alleged abuse, involving the third victim, is said to have occurred between 2010 and 2012, when she was between roughly 9 and 13 years old.

Separately, the first victim named in the case told investigators that Arthur, who was babysitting her at the time and was around 22 years old, allegedly molested her starting about seven years before the case came to light, when she was about 5.

The Monroe County Prosecutor's Office has charged Arthur with two counts of child molesting as Level 1 felonies, five counts of child molesting as Class B felonies, and one count of child molesting as a Level 4 felony.

The Class B charges stem from conduct alleged to have occurred between 2010 and 2012, before Indiana moved to its current numbered felony-level system. These charges reflect the severity with which the state treats offences against victims under the age of fourteen.

What Three Accusers Told Indiana Investigators

The first victim named in the charging documents told investigators that Arthur, who was babysitting her at the time, allegedly took her to her bedroom and molested her when she was about 5 years old.

Court records state she said she 'didn't know at the time what was happening' and 'just felt frozen' during the assault, only recognising years later, at around age nine, that what had occurred was abuse.

A second accuser told police the alleged abuse began when she was in kindergarten and continued until she was in the seventh grade.

She said Arthur, who she noted was several years older than her, allegedly molested her between two and five times a week during that period, an account that investigators say puts the number of individual incidents at more than one hundred.

A third woman came forward separately, telling investigators that Arthur had also molested her as a child, between 2010 and 2012, when she was between about 9 and 13 years old. She said the abuse occurred close to 300 times, and combined, the allegations from all three accusers place the total number of alleged incidents well above 300.

Prosecutors Say Arthur Contacted Victims During Investigation

Investigators allege that once the Indiana State Police inquiry was underway, Arthur reached out directly to the first two women who had come forward, asking whether they had been contacted by police. Prosecutors cited the Facebook Messenger contact in the charging documents as evidence supporting the case.

Reaching out to alleged victims while a criminal investigation is active can carry independent legal consequences in Indiana, separate from the underlying molestation charges, depending on how prosecutors ultimately characterise the contact.

It is not yet clear from the publicly available filings whether additional charges related to witness contact are being pursued.

Charges and the Case Ahead

Arthur's initial hearing was held on Monday, August 31, 2026, in Monroe County.

Level 1 felony child molesting convictions carry twenty to fifty years in prison, while Class B felony counts carry six to twenty years under the sentencing scheme in effect for the alleged 2010-2012 conduct.

The case now moves through the Monroe County court system, where a judge and, ultimately, a jury will weigh the allegations. Investigators say the abuse unfolded quietly across three childhoods for the better part of two decades.

No trial date had been publicly set as of this reporting. The Monroe County Prosecutor's Office has not released additional comment beyond the contents of the charging documents themselves.
