The apparent tension comes as the pair approach their eighth wedding anniversary, with recent photographs from a friend's wedding fuelling fresh speculation about the state of their relationship.

Yet behind the scenes, sources reportedly insist there is no serious trouble between the couple and that they remain committed to their marriage. Despite their disagreements, Justin and Hailey reportedly want to expand their family and give their son, Jack Blues Bieber, a sibling.

Why an Insider Says Justin and Hailey Bieber's Bickering Is Nothing New

The speculation began after Justin and Hailey attended Finneas O'Connell and Claudia Sulewski's wedding in Montecito, California, on 29 August.

Photographs showed the couple having what appeared to be an animated conversation, prompting some online speculation that they were experiencing marital tension.

However, the images alone do not establish that they were arguing. A source close to the couple told the Daily Mail: 'Hailey bickers with Justin all the time, so a wedding spat, if any, was probably just a minor flare-up.'

The insider was adamant that nothing was seriously wrong. 'They are crazy in love and committed to each other, make no mistake, and eventually want another child,' the source said.

A second insider suggested that occasional friction is simply part of how the couple operate. Justin and Hailey reportedly clash often, with his emotional sensitivity and her ability to push his buttons said to contribute to their arguments.

Friends of the couple reportedly believe any disagreements are short-lived. 'The makeup happens before any sort of breakup, because they are definitely addicted to each other,' the source said.

Inside Hailey and Justin Bieber's Plans for a Second Baby

Talk of another Bieber baby is not new. Hailey addressed her family plans in an Interview magazine article published in April, revealing that she definitely wants more children but has not settled on a specific number.

'I definitely want more than one, but I'm taking it one at a time,' Hailey said. 'Some days I want two. Some days I want five.'

The Rhode founder added that she had always wanted to get married and start a family from a young age. She also opened up about her morning routine with Jack and how much she has enjoyed motherhood.

Jack recently celebrated his second birthday. Justin and Hailey welcomed their first child in August 2024, and both have previously spoken about wanting a bigger family.

Justin has also expressed enthusiasm about having more children. In a 2020 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he said he wanted a 'little tribe' and would have as many children as Hailey wanted, stressing that the decision was ultimately hers because she would carry the pregnancies.

But not everyone saw the footage as evidence of trouble. Body-language expert Judi James examined images of Justin and Hailey from the wedding and offered a more measured assessment.

James said Hailey's glance back at Justin as he walked away gave the 'impression of tension or drama'. She also noted that Justin's slightly hunched posture made him appear 'less motivated and less positive'.

However, James stopped short of describing the interaction as a row. She pointed out that although Hailey was gesturing and pointing as she spoke, she was not pointing at her husband.

James ultimately concluded that there was 'no signal of conflict'. The couple have also given no public indication that their marriage is in trouble.

Following the wedding, Justin shared photographs of himself and Hailey together, including affectionate images from the celebration.
