Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William attended the Our Greatest Team Rises concert to celebrate TeamGB and ParalympicsGB at the Royal Albert Hall, in central London on Friday. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were special guests of the British Olympic Association at the gala.

The Duchess was as usual a head-turner as she stepped out of her car in an aqua fresh, teal dress by Jenny Packham. The floor-length dress featured netted back and shoulders and a beaded belt across the waist that gave a regal look to the Duchess.

Kate Middleton, who normally lets her hair down at such events, sported a hairdo not seen before in her style statement. Her hair tied back into a bun gelled well with the gown.

Kate teamed her floor-length dress with a pair of glittering silver Jimmy Choo heels, which she had worn with her much talked about lavender-coloured dress made by British designer Alexander McQueen at the Bafta Brits to Watch event in Los Angeles in July last year.

The Duchess accessorised herself with diamond encrusted drop earrings and carried an embroidered clutch, made of the same material as of the gown, which complemented her full makeover.

Catherine, Prince William and Prince Harry were formally announced as Official Team GB and ParalympicsGB 2012 Ambassadors in December 2011. The royal couple attended the Our Greatest Team Rises concert, an official launch party to mark the final countdown to the 2012 London Olympics, to help raise critical funds for the athletes.

As Team GB and ParalympicsGB Ambassadors, they are lending their support and encouragement to the athletes who are pursuing their dreams of competing at London 2012 and beyond and encouraging fans throughout the United Kingdom to do the same, according to an official statement released on the concert's website.
