Overview

Nishikori made it to the last eight of the Miami Open after defeating David Goffin in the fourth round. The 25-year-old defeated the Belgian tennis player comfortably in straight sets 6-1, 6-2.

So far, the Japanese tennis star has not dropped a set in the ongoing tournament and Nishikori will be looking to keep his record intact when he takes on Isner in the quarter-final clash.

Isner sealed a berth in the quarter-final after defeating big-serving Milos Raonic in a nail-biting clash. The course of the match was decided in the third set and all three sets ended in a tie breaker.

The Canadian won the first set 7-6 and was in pole position to win the second set, which was also decided on a tie breaker. Isner managed to make a comeback and went on to win the final set and the match 6-7, 7-6, 7-6.
