Jurgen Klopp will take his men to The John Smith's Stadium as Liverpool take on Huddersfield Town for their fourth pre-season fixture on 20 July, Wednesday.

The Reds come into this fixture after a fine display in their 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium. Danny Ings showcased his talent against the Latics as he broke the deadlock with 19 minutes to go before the highly-rated teenager Ben Woodburn doubled the lead three minutes later.

The former Burnely man had scored his side's goal in Liverpool's 1-0 victory over Tranmere Rovers, which was their first pre-season fixture.

Klopp will be delighted to see the England international back on the field as he missed the majority of the 2015/16 season with a cruciate knee ligament injury. Ings' goal scoring form will be a massive boost for his side and his manager, but at the same time could be a matter of worry for the former Borussia Dortmund coach.

With Ings continuing to fire, Klopp is likely to have a selection headache when deciding his striker when the new season starts. With no European competition, providing regular playing time for the strikers at Liverpool will be a tough task for the German manager.

Against Wigan, Philippe Coutinho had an outstanding match, along with his compatriot Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. Following this match, Liverpool will travel to the United States to participate in the International Champions Cup. So far, the Reds have kept three clean sheets and have scored eight goals in the process.
