Overview

Manchester United failed to register a victory over Anderlecht during their trip to Belgium for the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final clash. Henrikh Mkhitaryan helped the Red Devils take a lead, before Leander Dendoncker's 86th minute header helped his side score the equaliser.

The second leg of the Europa League clash will take place at Old Trafford on Thursday. United defeated Sunderland 3-0 at the Stadium of Light in their last league tie. Goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan and Marcus Rashford sealed the job.

Jose Mourinho lost to the Premier League leaders on two occasions, one in the league and the last one in the FA Cup quarter-final clash. He will be hoping his side can seal a victory over his former club on Sunday.

Chelsea enter this tie after managing a 3-1 victory over AFC Bournemouth in the last league tie. An own goal and goals from Eden Hazard and Marcos Alonso helped the Blues walk away from the Vitality Stadium with three points.

The west London club's attack that includes the trio of Diego Costa, Hazard and Pedro will look to trouble United defenders. In the last meeting, Ander Herrera was sent off as N'Golo Kante dominated in the centre of the pitch.

Antonio Conte would not like his side slip up against the Red Devils. The Italian boss will be looking for a win as this would give them the lift for the FA Cup semi-final clash against Tottenham Hotspur on 22 April.

What managers say

Jose Mourinho: "You say that word emotion. For me, it is just a game. One more game. No difference for me, not at all. First of all, some guys are fresh, some guys are tired — that's very important in football. But, for some reason, they are top of the league. It's not just because they are fresh. It's also because they have individual quality and they have collective quality. They have a certain style of play, they stick to it, they do it very well. Not every team defends with 11 players, and they defend with 11 players," Mourinho was reported as saying by the Daily Mail.

Antonio Conte: "Zlatan is in the top form of his career. He is a great player now, not only a finisher. He plays for the team. He's one of the best in the world. When he attacks the box, he's very dangerous. Also when he receives the ball, he's dangerous. He's a dangerous player. For this reason, my players must pay great attention and great concentration to stop him. It is good to have this type of player because it's very good to play for the team. For me, he's one of the best players in the world, Zlatan," Conte told the Mirror.
