Overview

Manchester United host Queens Park Rangers looking for their first win of the season on Sunday. The Red Devils will hope to get their season underway following poor performances in the first three games. The game at Old Trafford will see a new look United side following the summer spending spree and fans could be treated to as many as four debutants with the likes of Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Daley Blind and Radamel Falcao set to play some part in the game. It will also be Angel Di Maria's first home game for United.

Louis van Gaal will be hoping his team fire on all cylinders, as there will be no room for excuses if United fail to get all three points against the east London club. However, van Gaal is still missing plenty of first team players mainly in the defence, with Chris Smalling and Phil Jones both ruled out.

Meanwhile, QPR will come into this game expecting the worst as all the focus has been on the Hoops defence vs United's feared attack. The game also marks the return to Old Trafford for club legend Rio Ferdinand, who was let go earlier this summer following a hugely successful spell with United.

Harry Redknapp will hope his players can focus on the game instead of the star studded lineup and cause an upset as United are the team under pressure to get the win.

Stat of the Match: Manchester United's two-point haul is the club's worst start to a Premier League season for seven years.

What Managers Say

Louis van Gaal (Manchester United): "You always want to buy the best players for the positions. I think we have done very good in the transfer window. Despite not being in the Champions League, the players are coming to United. We have to produce results, and have to start that on Sunday against QPR."

Harry Redknapp (QPR): "To make it fair play we should be able to spend as much as Manchester United spent before we play them on Sunday. That would be fair."
