Where to watch live

Kick-off is at 12pm BST. Live coverage is on BT Sport 1. Catch the highlights of the game on Match of the Day 2 on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10:30pm BST.

Overview

Manchester United managed to salvage a point against Manchester City in the derby clash as the fixture at the Etihad ended in a goalless draw. The Red Devils went down to 10-men after Marouane Fellaini was sent off for headbutting Sergio Aguero in the final quarter of the match.

The clash against the Swans is their first league game at home, since their 2-0 victory over Chelsea. United will be pushing for a win, but the lack of options in the defence and midfield will force them to find solutions for this tie.

Jose Mourinho will be looking for nothing less than a win against the Welsh club on Sunday. A victory will be a massive boost for United for their upcoming crucial fixtures against Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Swansea enter this tie after registering a 2-0 victory over Stoke City in the last league fixture. Fernando Llorente opened the scoring in the 10th minute before Tom Carroll double the lead with a deflected shot from outside the box.

The Swans have endured a difficult run in the away fixtures as they only suffered defeats in recent times. They have managed only two wins on the road in this calendar year and that came against Crystal Palace and Liverpool.

Paul Clement will be hoping to avoid another defeat when his side take on United in the league tie. A loss against the Red Devils will be a massive blow for Swansea as they are fighting to stay in the Premier League.

What managers say

Jose Mourinho: "Yes, he's an option. We don't have (any other players there). We have (Ander) Herrera and (Michael) Carrick and nothing else. And Tim Fosu-Mensah, an emergency to help the team, strong legs, energy, he's another one that we will miss, so we are in trouble. But we will fight, that's for sure. In this moment he (Bailly) is the only option we have. It's Axel, Eric and Daley. I think Eric and Daley they played again absolutely amazingly. I have to speak with them and see how they are, see how they feel. I'm also training hard in the gym so I can also be an option! Mourinho and Tuanzebe against Swansea," Mourinho was reported as saying by the Daily Mail.

Paul Clement: "I don't think they will sacrifice our game. When you play for a club of that size and with that expectancy in front of 75,000 supporters, they are expected to give their absolute best in every game. They have been playing Thursday and Sunday for many weeks now and they have an injury list which I'm sure the manager is not happy with. But we know it will not be easy. You always hope when you play a big team at their stadium that they have a slightly off-day and you have a chance," Clement told ITV.
