Conrad Murray has claimed that he was so close to Michael Jackson that he would hold the late singer's penis for him.

The former physician, who was convicted of causing Jackson's death, revealed intimate details of his relationship with the Thriller hitmaker in an interview with the Daily Mail.

Murray maintained that he was innocent of all wrong-doing and attempted to clear his name.

"I never gave Michael anything that would kill him," Murray said. "I loved him. I still do. I always will.

"You want to know how close Michael and I were? I held his penis every night. I had to put a condom catheter on him because Michael dripped urine. He had a loss of sensation and was incontinent.

"Michael didn't know how to put a condom on, so I had to do it for him."

Murray, who was freed from Los Angeles County Jail after serving two of the four years he was given for involuntary manslaughter in November 2011, claimed that he was used as scapegoat trying to protect Jackson.

"By the end Michael Jackson was a broken man," he told the newspaper. "I tried to protect him but instead I was brought down with him.

"The Jacksons only ever wanted money from him [Michael Jackson]. Three weeks before Michael died, Joe turned up at the house and was pummeling on the gate wanting Michael to sign an agreement for a pay-per-view television show for the Return of the Jackson 5."

Jackson died on 25 June 2009 after receiving a lethal dose of the anaesthetic propofol from Murray.

In his no-holds-barred interview, Murray suggested that Jackson accidentally killed himself.

"He was a drug addict. Michael Jackson accidentally killed Michael Jackson," Murray stated.

"I believe he woke up, got hold of his own stash of Propofol and injected himself. He did it too quickly and went into cardiac arrest."

Murray also spoke about Jackson's children Prince and Paris - who Debbie Rowe gave birth to - and claimed the star was not their biological father.

"None of them are Michael's biological children ... Michael told me he never slept with Debbie Rowe. We joked that neither of us would want to have sex with her."

Rowe has since lashed out and allegedly offered to fund the murder of Murray, after she was left disgusted by his comments.

"A Jackson fan will shoot him dead, and I'd buy the bullet," Rowe, 54, told TMZ. "I wouldn't shoot him but I'd buy the bullet ... a hollow-point."

"If I had a dog as ugly as him [Murray] I'd shave its ass, make it walk backwards and put a wig on it," Rowe continued.
