Overview

After making it to the finals on two occasions in the last three years, Djokovic will be hoping to win the Roland Garros for the first time in his career. In the two defeats in the final, the Serbian lost to the defending champion Rafael Nadal.

The world number one has won the other three Grand Slams and his recent form has made him one of the firm favourites to win the tournament. Djokovic is yet to lose a single set this tournament, beating Luxembourgish player Gilles Muller in the second round 6-1 6-4 6-4.

Meanwhile, Kokkinakis became the first teenager to reach the third round of the Ronald Garros after he beat Bernard Tomic in a five-set thriller, coming back from two sets down to win the final three sets in nerve wracking fashion.

The Australian is tipped to be among the brightest stars in the tennis circuit for the future, currently on a nine-match unbeaten run on clay and will face his biggest obstacle in the race to progress in the competition.
