HTC Quattro release date set
If even half the spec being reported about the HTC Quattro is true, it'll be pretty sweet.

Fresh reports of HTC's iPad-rival Quattro have emerged suggesting the quad-core beast will be hitting UK shores March 2012.

The new "leak" emerged Tuesday from Far Eastern tech rumour mill The Digitimes. Citing an unnamed supply chain source, The Digitimes reported that consumers will not get a glimpse of the currently unconfirmed 10.1-inch tablet until Q1 2012.

The site went on to report that the device would boast Wi-Fi and 3G intergration, 1GB of RAM, a 2-megapixel camera, Dropbox integration and -- as if that's not enough -- Beats Audio technology.

Digitimes' report mirrored the tech spec previously reported by Pocketnow earlier in November. As well as the same claims regarding the tablet's RAM and camera, Pocketnow's report also alleged that the Quattro will boast 16GB of internal storage -- upgradable via its very own microSD card slot -- and be powered by the same Nvidia AP30 Tegra 3 quad-core processor used in the HTC Edge.

The Quattro is currently one of many unconfirmed quad-core devices linked to HTC. As well as the Quattro tablet the company is also rumoured to be working on a quad-core phone, commonly referred to as the HTC Zeta.

HTC are yet to confirm either device's existence, let alone tech spec. When asked for comment HTC clarified, "HTC does not comment on rumour and speculation."
