Overview

The Supergiants are currently placed at the bottom of the table losing nine out of the 12 games played and are out of contention for a place in the play-off stages.

M S Dhoni's side will be playing for pride and it may be a good opportunity to give youngsters a chance as they try and identify the players they will need for the next season.

The Daredevils come into the clash knowing they have to win at least two out of their last three games to qualify for the play-off stage. They had an off day against Mumbai Indians in their last game on 15 May. Their bowlers especially were off key and will need to regroup considering that they have everything to play for at this point in the competition.

The Daredevils have surprised everybody with their impressive performances as they have kept faith in youngsters over big names. Quinton de Kock plays an important role for them. If he fires they tend to win. It will be interesting to see how Delhi approach their last three matches as one slip-up could cost them a place in the last four.
