Juventus are rumoured to be interested in bringing Manchester United forward to the club this summer. The Italian giants are in the market for a striker and are said to see Manchester United's Dimitar Berbatov as the cheaper alternative to their striking problems. The Bianconeri are ready to offer Sir Alex Ferguson in the region of £8-10m according to reports and with the Bulgarian striker's contract ending next summer, Juventus are confident of landing their man. Berbatov has stated his desire to remain at Old Trafford but after being left out of Manchester United's Champions League final squad and the competition for places at Old Trafford next season, Juventus are hoping to persuade Berbatov to make the move to Italy.

Juventus are also said to be ready to offer Liverpool flop Alberto Aquilani a permanent escape from his Anfield nightmare. The midfielder, who spent last season on loan in Turin, was ready to make a switch to Fiorentina but the move has stalled because of the player's demands. Juventus are now ready to make an offer to Liverpool, which will consist of another seasons loan and then Juve will agree a price with Liverpool.

Juventus are said to be ready to do battle with Arsenal to bring Potro full back Alvaro Pereira to the club. According to Spanish daily AS, Juventus are ready to offer Real Madrid £11m for Lassana Diarra. The French midfielder is set to leave the Bernabeu this summer after being left out of Jose Mourinho's 25 man squad for their recent tour of the U.S. Reports in Spain claim that Diarra missed training on Monday and is ready to discuss terms with Juventus after clubs in England and Spain were put off by the clubs valuation.

Juventus have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Dutch international Eljero Elia. The Hamburg forward has been linked with a move to Juventus all summer but Hamburg director of football Frank Arnesan has said the player is not for sale. "Eljero has incredible quality, which could [make] the difference come the start of next season. That means that we are keen to retain him," the Dane told NuSport.
