US porn actress Sunny Leone is now trying to establish herself in Bollywood

The trailer of US adult film star Sunny Leone's next Bollywood film titled Ragini MMS 2, released on Sunday, received a massive response from viewers. The trailer, gone viral, got over 600,000 hits on its official YouTube Channel.

The official uncut version of the trailer, showcasing Leone in steamy scenes, created an online frenzy, reports Daily Mail. The makers of this 3D erotica-horror decided to cash in on Leone's popularity by revealing an uncensored cut of the trailer. They plan to release a toned down version for theatrical and television promotions.

Leone posted the link of the trailer on her micro-blogging site:

The trailer of the former porn star's next film was also released on several adult websites. This is the first time that a Bollywood film's trailer is getting aired on international adult sites, according to a Mid-day report.

"Sunny enjoys a huge viewership on adult websites, so yes, we are launching the trailer on these websites," Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji films, said in a statement.

It is evident that the filmmakers have treated this move as a marketing strategy by cashing in on Sunny's fame in the adult film industry.

"The promos of my film 'Ragini MMS-2' are super sexy and super scary. This is something my fans and lovers haven't seen before and it being released on those sites is a treat that I don't want them to miss out on," said Leone.

Sunny Leone leads the cast of the film, along with Parvin Dabas, Sandhya Mridul and Anita Hassanandani, which will open on March 21.

Ragini MMS 2 is produced by Bollywood heavyweight Ekta Kapoor under her banner Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Entertainment. It's a sequel to the 2011 horror film Ragini MMS (similar in treatment to Paranormal Activity). The film is directed by Bhushan Patel.
