Welsh rap group Goldie Lookin Chain and US singer Jhene Aiko are heading to this year's V Festival.

The two acts are the latest stars to be added to the stellar line-up for the two-day summer music event.

Fans can also look forward to seeing Original Rude Boys and Sons & Lovers perform live. Boothby Graffoe, Dana Alexander, Mark Oliver and Allyson Smith make up the comedy line-up.

Virgin Media V Festival will be headlined by pop star Justin Timberlake and American rock band The Killers.

Elsewhere on the schedule are Paolo Nutini, Nile Rodgers, Ed Sheeran, Bastille, Foxes, Sam Smith, Tinie Tempah, Blondie and Lily Allen.

Festival director Simon Moran said: "I am looking forward to seeing so many artists this year but I am personally very much looking forward to seeing a great performance from Chic with Nile Rodgers!"

V Festival will take place on 16 and 17 August returning to Chelmsford's Hylands Park and Staffordshire's Weston Park.

Over 170,000 fans are expected to attend the annual event in its 19th year.
