Conservative commentator Candace Owens has released new clarifications after online scrutiny intensified around Mitch Snow, the man she identified as a key eyewitness in the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

The renewed attention centres on claims Snow made about events at Fort Huachuca in Arizona, which were raised in recent interviews and online posts.

Owens says she did not present Snow's account as final proof, but argues the controversy now demands verified timelines.

The issue has drawn in figures linked to Turning Point USA, media personalities, and questions about silence from those named.

Who Is Mitch Snow?

According to Dive Pirates Foundation, Mitch Snow is a retired US Army staff sergeant with a background in Special Forces. He served as a combat medic and has said his ambition from childhood was to become a Green Beret. His military career ended after a severe training accident while scouting a drop zone, where he reportedly fell more than 80 feet.

Snow sustained multiple injuries, including fractures to his ankles, feet, kneecaps, back and neck, along with a dislocated shoulder. He was medically discharged from service, an outcome he has described as devastating. Until recently, Snow was largely unknown to the public.

His profile changed after appearing on Candace Owens' podcast, where he claimed to have been present at Fort Huachuca during early September, around the time of Charlie Kirk's assassination. That appearance placed him at the centre of a growing and polarising debate.

Snow's Charlie Kirk Death Revelations

Snow told Owens that he was at Fort Huachuca in September and observed individuals he later associated with Turning Point USA. He claimed to have seen Brian Harpole, Kirk's head of security, leaving what he described as a 'top brass meeting' around 7:30 am.

He also said he was '95 to 99% sure' he recognised Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk's wife, either in person or through an image he saw during that period. Snow insisted he had no prior connection to TPUSA.

'I don't know these people from TPUSA, never been associated with it,' Snow said during the interview.

'They were there, and the head of security was one of the people walking out with the congressman,' added the eyewitness.

His statements challenge official timelines and alibis previously accepted.

Mitch Snow Doubted By Netizens

Snow's account has been met with sharp scepticism online. Critics have questioned his memory, his rank, and whether he misinterpreted what he witnessed. Some users argued that the term 'top brass' did not align with the military ranks involved.

X user Sam Parker posted on 29 December 2025, saying he was unsure whether Snow was lying, mistaken, or recalling events incorrectly. Others pointed to logistical issues, including voting records and travel times linked to Rep. Mark Amodei, which some say undermine the meeting claim.

At the same time, supporters noted that Snow's son publicly confirmed his presence at Fort Huachuca, while acknowledging that sightings of specific individuals remain unverified.

Candace Owens Shares New Details

Owens responded to the backlash by outlining where she believes the investigation now stands. She said she never relied entirely on Snow's memory and criticised what she described as a 'bizarre misinformation campaign' involving personal attacks and emotional reactions from media figures.

'We now need solid information on the whereabouts of all mentioned so we can move on,' Owens wrote. She detailed responses, or lack thereof, from figures named by Snow, including Harpole, Erika Kirk, Amodei, and Cabot Phillips.

Owens rejected claims from Alex Jones that flight records provided firm alibis, stating they did not account for the alleged meeting's end time.

She has asked anyone with verifiable information to contact her team directly, as questions surrounding Mitch Snow and Charlie Kirk remain unresolved.

What Is Known And What Is Not

At present, Snow's claims remain allegations. No official investigation has confirmed his account, and no corroborating evidence has been publicly released.

What is clear is that Mitch Snow has become a central figure in a deeply polarising debate. Whether his testimony ultimately clarifies or complicates the case will depend on independently verified facts, not speculation.
