Overview

Andy Murray comes into the French Open in good form following two titles at Madrid and Munich, and it showed as he breezed past his first round opponent Facundo Arguello in straight sets.

The World number three beat the king of clay Rafael Nadal in the final of the Madrid Masters, which should give him plenty of confidence going into the latter stages of the competition.

Meanwhile, Joao Sousa is also coming into the tournament on the back of a good run after making the final at the Geneva ATP 250 event, and will hope to register his first win and cause the first real upset of the tournament.
