Beyonce is offering fans an insight into her personal life and behind the scenes of her latest album, Lemonade, but for a price – $300 (£233), to be precise. The Formation singer is releasing a coffee book on 18 August featuring previously unseen photos from the year in which she recorded and filmed her Grammy-nominated visual album.

The How To Make Lemonade vinyl box set boasts 600 pages of Beyonce sharing intimate moments with her husband Jay-Z and their eldest daughter Blue Ivy. The 35-year-old singer is also seen on-set with her backing dancers filming music videos for Lemonade album tracks like Formation, Sorry, Sandcastles, Freedom and Pray You Catch Me.

Inside the box set, fans will also get lyrics for Lemonade's 12-song tracklist, a selection of Beyonce's trademark handwritten essays, a foreword penned by Dr Michael Eric Dyson and poetry from Warsan Shire. The extensive collectors' edition will also include a double vinyl LP, audio and visual album downloads all for the retail price of $299.98.

The promotional material states: "[This] shows the inspiration and themes behind some of the film's most provocative and cryptic moments."

Among the candid images include Beyonce sitting in a bath, appearing to practice for her Super Bowl Halftime Show cameo during Coldplay's headline set in February 2016, Blue Ivy running away from Jay-Z with a football and the five-year-old sitting on her aunt Solange Knowles' lap.

Lemonade is Beyonce's sixth solo studio album and topped the Billboard 200 chart while also earning a Grammy album of the year nomination, only to narrowly lose out to Adele's 25 in February 2017, and selling around three million copies to date.

The critically-acclaimed album was supported by the mammoth Lemonade World Tour, which spanned 49 dates across stadiums and arenas between April and October 2016. In total, the mammoth jaunt grossed over £256m, making it one of the most popular tours of the year.

Many Beyonce fans will have to wait until April 2018 to catch the superstar on-stage at Coachella music festival as the pop star is enjoying some time off after welcoming twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, in June.
