Fitness influencer Blake Sanburg, known as @thenutritionnarc, shared a viral video on 7 July comparing old and new photos of Sean. He claimed the rapper's abs looked 'unnaturally defined' and even accused him of having a 'bubble gut', a term commonly used to describe steroid-related bloating, implying possible implants or enhancement.

Sean was quick to respond in the comments section: 'Bro, unfortunately mine are real lol. I got love for the fake ab community tho, to each its own, but what makes this funnier is this is the way God made me.'

He followed up with: 'When I'm outta shape, I just happen to look like a chewed-up Tootsie Roll.'

As online chatter shifted toward Drake, another rapper who's faced similar accusations of surgical enhancement, Sean clarified that he wasn't throwing shade.

I can only speak for myself. I don't know what others do, but that's just how my stomach is naturally. I can't believe I even have to say this, but I guess this is where we are as a society. Cooked.'

He doubled down in a follow-up comment: 'So just to be clear — no, nothing.'

In a private DM to Sanburg that was later shared online, Sean explained that any change in his body came down to age and effort.

'I just gained Dad weight n had to crack down on working out as I got older bro. So my body has gone through a lot lol. No surgery though.'

Sean and singer Jhené Aiko welcomed their son, Noah Hasani, in November 2022. Speaking to People in April 2024, he said: 'I'm still learning to be even more intentional with everything and just being in the moment.'

Surgery or not, Big Sean is clearly unbothered and still shredded.
