BLACKPINK's Jennie Accused of Staff Mistreatment After Viral Tour Video
A viral clip from BLACKPINK's Seoul concert sparks debate over Jennie's treatment of backstage crew during the Deadline World Tour.

BLACKPINK's Jennie has come under fire online after a video from the group's ongoing Deadline World Tour appeared to show her acting dismissively towards stage staff.
Viral moment during 'Forever Young' performance

The video, which has circulated widely on social media since BLACKPINK's Seoul concert on 5 July, shows Jennie appearing to face a wardrobe issue during the performance of Forever Young. As she gestures toward her shoe, a member of the stage crew approaches her.
What happens next has divided fans. In the clip, Jennie appears to interact curtly with the staff member, prompting allegations of rudeness from some viewers. Critics say the idol's tone and manner were disrespectful, while others have defended her response as a heat-of-the-moment reaction during a high-pressure performance.

While the video continues to spark debate, many fans have taken to platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to express disappointment. Some posts questioned Jennie's attitude toward those working behind the scenes, with one user writing:
People defending Jennie's attitude? bitch 💀 you can't treat workers any way you want. pic.twitter.com/sg1up6Vyl3

Another widely shared comment added: 'Workers are humans too, and they're the closest to you, followed by the fans. If she really can't treat her workers right now, how much more her fans?'

Others have come to Jennie's aid by providing a bit more context to the situation and the people involved.
She was shouting because of how loud it was. That staff is also her manager since YG days and they’re so close that she left YG and moved to OA with Jennie. You can’t create fake problems using her lol https://t.co/UVPBbjbtMf pic.twitter.com/khbgMyTMxo

BLACKPINK's Deadline World Tour continues
The incident took place during the launch of BLACKPINK's Deadline World Tour, which began in Goyang, South Korea, on 5 July. The tour marks the group's first full reunion since their solo music pursuits and is scheduled to run through January 2026, with stops in cities including Los Angeles, Paris, London and Jakarta.

Despite the online backlash, the tour has seen strong ticket sales and high-profile attendance. Celebrities such as BTS's J-Hope, Red Velvet's Irene and Seulgi, TWICE's Jihyo and SEVENTEEN's Mingyu were among those spotted at the Seoul concert.
As of now, Jennie has not issued a public response regarding the viral clip.
