BlackBerry has started rolling out the latest BlackBerry OS 10.2.2 for users in different regions.
The update is now seeding for users in Germany and surrounding areas. Users in these regions should receive the OTA notification for BlackBerry OS v10.2.2.930 or, v10.2.2.1531.
According to a release note, the update features security enhancements for Enterprise customers with specific requirements, reporrts CrackBerry. For those who have not upgraded their devices to BlackBerry OS 10.2.1, the latest firmware brings the following enhancements.
- Applications – No more limits on the number of applications that can run in the background
- 64GB Support – Now with support for 64GB (or higher) SD Cards
- Enhancements to Bluetooth, Media and Browser amongst other improvements
Those outside Germany who cannot wait for the OTA to arrive in their region, can grab the update via Sachesi. Besides, download links for the .BAR files are available for those who wish to manually install the update.

Meanwhile, for the upcoming BlackBerry 10.3, the SDK Beta for the update is now available for developers. A number of features have already appeared via leaks. Apart from the software part, BlackBerry has confirmed that there is a simulator for an upcoming device with 1440 x 1440 square screen.
Also, a BlackBerry Classis device running BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 is to come out.
