The Federal Bureau of Prisons has denied reports that Sean 'Diddy' Combs fought fellow inmate Christopher Coke at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. Its statement, reported on Thursday, 15 October, leaves conflicting accounts about Combs' reported head injury and hospital visit unresolved.

TMZ reported that Combs was taken by ambulance from Fort Dix early on Saturday, 10 October, for treatment after a head injury. On Tuesday, 13 October, Page Six cited an unnamed source who said Combs hit his head on the bunk above him.

It was later reported that sources inside the prison believed the injury followed a fight with Coke. Neither explanation has been confirmed by prison officials or Combs' family.

Bureau Denies Reported Diddy Prison Fight

A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson told TMZ: 'We can tell you that the story you are referring to is false and did not happen.' Asked how Combs was injured, the spokesperson said: 'We have no additional information to provide.' The agency denied the alleged fight but did not confirm the hospital trip or offer another explanation for the injury.

A 14 October report said people inside Fort Dix alleged Combs and Coke came to blows. The outlet's sources claimed the dispute followed prison raids and the confiscation of mobile phones, including one belonging to Coke.

The Blast later reported a similar account from people it described as insiders, saying Coke confronted Combs after his phone was taken.

Those claims remain allegations. The Bureau of Prisons has not confirmed a confrontation, the phone confiscation or the reason for any disciplinary action. It was reported that both men were placed in the Special Housing Unit for two weeks, but neither outlet cited a public prison record confirming that placement or its cause.

Combs' Family Disputes the Diddy Prison Fight Account

On The Breakfast Club, journalist Loren LoRosa said she had spoken with a member of Combs' family. She did not identify the relative, but said they told her 'there was no fight at all', according to The Blast.

LoRosa also said Combs was guarded when outside the Special Housing Unit and that he and Coke were on 'completely different sides' of the facility. Those details have not been independently verified.

The family's position disputes the fight account, but does not identify what caused the injury. The Blast reported that relatives did not know its precise cause, while maintaining it was not the result of a prison clash. A bunk-bed explanation also came from an unnamed source, rather than a public statement from the family or prison officials.

Combs' representative had earlier told Page Six the team was 'working to confirm the circumstances' and that his health was its immediate concern. That statement did not confirm either the bunk-bed account or the reported fight.

The reported hospital visit has produced competing explanations, but no public account from Combs, his representatives or the BOP that establishes what happened.

Diddy's Reported Injury and Prison Claims Remain Unresolved

The Blast also revisited allegations that Combs had access to prohibited items and received help from other inmates at Fort Dix. It said prison officials had conducted raids and seized mobile phones and other smuggled materials.

The outlet linked the alleged loss of phone access to the reported dispute with Coke, but that connection has not been established by the BOP.

The distinction between a confirmed statement and an unverified account is central here. The BOP has directly denied the reported fight, while declining to explain how Combs was injured.

Page Six's bunk-bed account and TMZ's fight report both rely on unnamed sources, and Combs' family has rejected the latter. The cause of the reported injury remains unconfirmed.
